I have a manual sun roof on a 3.0 RXE (1998), it lets in small amounts of water when raining. Is there any 'quick fix' or am I looking at a new seal to be fitted. Is this covered under the statutory 30 day warranty in the UK?

Hi
I had a 3.0 98 RXE and both sunroofs used to leak until i removed the glass and cleand the rubber that the glass sat in/on it cured it for me, it was a build up off grime and moss by the hinges that was causing the leek.

I agree with Savo... and if that does not work you remove the rubber and fill the frame with silicone - the stuff you use to seal walls in your bath room. And then refit the rubber trim. Remove any glue popping out under the rubber. Use a kind of silicone for outdoor use so it does not crack in cold weather.
