Does anyone have any confirmation if the front brakes are just standard talbot alpine or solara, or are they specific to the Murena,  does anyone have any codes for them?

You need compleet caliper for that?
They are expencive.
The pads are Ferodo FDB235 en are correct.
Be carefull buying Solara pads, there are different sizes with wrong compounds.
If the pistons ar rusted you can look for pistons from a Visa or Peu 104 48mm diameter.
I have them fitted in the original calipers.

In fact I did try to fit the compleet caliper, it worked, but it was to far out of the center line so I used the pistons in my old calipers.

Murena 2.2 Red 1982. Murena 1.6 black on places.

Yes I have very sticky pistons, I was told by someone who had a murena and who wanted some bits from me that they were the same, shame if they aren't as you can pick them up cheaper than to have calipers refurbed... Now I've saved a bit of cash I need to sort something, I miss my car!
