I have modified the template and stylesheets (again)
This time I have also created a bunch of buttons, to make the
site more uniform.

Depending on the monitor used, the background may seem too dark ? - what do you think ?

looks cool, - even on this terminal-server windows machine...

The fonts seem a bit large, though, and IE cannot scale them as mozilla friends can :-(

However, - the font-size is mainly a problem for me, because I use a terminal server session with only 800x600 resolution :-)

I agree, the font size does seem too big.

heh,

It apparently used the browsers default font size, - i.e it didn't specify the font-properties for the message-text at all.

I managed to find the spot in the php-code where the messages are shown, and embraced it into <div> tags with a style-sheet font specification (.message-text), so NOW it can be set by simply modifying the template.php  (by whoever have administrator access)

Does this look better ?

Regards

Lennart

yes, thats an administrator thing, done in "preferences"

I think it will force all avatars (the little images below the poster's name) to be resized to a fixed size, - even if it was smaller, so its a good thing to enforce early on.

I have thus set a 100 pixel size - but apparently its again one of these style-sheet things that internet Explorer does not interpret correctly. Mozilla on both Windows and Unix looks fine. :-/

What can I say ?! - download Mozilla-Firebird for free at
http://www.mozilla.org/products/firebird/

it even allows you to deny popups, and has a brilliant "adblock" plugin, so you can weed out all the banner-ads from your favourite website .-)

I have made the newest posts shown at the top.

Isn't this better than having to scroll to the bottomw of a potentially long thread ?
