New exhaust "straight through" - good sound!

We are about to remove a pair from a Bagheera Jubillee model. Condition unknown but the manifold is there too.

Problem: They are in Southern England and I don't have time to remove them for you for about 4 weeks. Would you like to come and take them off yourself?

Send me a message if you are interested.

After such a long time, please find attached the pictures of the parts that I can now send to you.

No extra charge for the extra parts as my "thank you" for being so patient.

When I have kept my promise to you I can start to contribute to the Forum again.

Best wishes,

Hi Otto,

Here are the pics of my 36dcnfs fitted to my 1.6. I started with main jet system 130-F36-170. But now am on 150-F36-240 which works much better. This is work in progress just to get the carbs running ok until I fit a new engine with Rallye 2 cam.

This is quite shinny.  Smiley

What is this kind of fabric arround the hose coming from the bottom of the engine ?
Also, what is the purpose of the little piece of hose connecting the carbs depressions ?

Spyros: The water hose from the right side of the engine is just a flexible hose, nothing special. The little clear pipes on the carbs are just dust covers. They serve no purpose other than that. Those connections are for a carb calibrating tool.

Otto: The twin carbs are a huge improvement if you don't mind the engine roaring and a little loss in fuel consumption. My old engine has bad compression but still gets 99bhp with 170-F36-130. I'm now running 240-F36-150 and *******! Can't wait to test it on the rollers. I need to sort the idle circuit as it has a mind of its own at the moment. I haven't noticed a huge difference in fuel consumption but is surely down a bit.

The air top box is from a Series 1 Bagheera. I used an air filter fitted bottom right. I connected the rocker cover breather using the same green 'frog' by tapping into the bottom of the air filter box, see pics. You could use an oil catch tank however.

I polished the carbs myself using a drill and mop but had to give up on the manifold and top box so had a pro do them for 50 Euro.

Nice work Titus

Those connections are for a carb calibrating tool.

I knew and was just wondering why  Wink

By the way, on my Bagheeras, I'm now also converting to inox braided fuel hoses.
The advantage is that I don't risk damages with these animals anymore :
