Hi

In Matrasports/gallery there are fine pictures of Robi Rizvic's murena.
Equipped with
  • Front - 7,5 x 16 ET 18 - 215/40 ZR 16 W
  • Rear - 7,5 x 16 ET 18 (+10 mm spacers -> ET 08) 225/40 ZR 16 W

Pretty good looking !!

I have looked for a dealer with same wheel sizes, and with affordable prices ~100 to 150 EUR pr piece, but haven't found any.
Most alloys today has ET of 30 or more.

Can anybody help ?

Regards
Henrik

ET30 is still useable - The Murena needs ET28, but frankly, 2 mm is not a lot - I don't
think your bearings will suffer as long as you stay within say 5-6 mm.

I agree with Lennart, but there is also the visual appearance... some find that tyres right to the edge of the car looks good. Personally, I think the Murena deserves a bit of space as that was the way it was designed and it reflects the way cars looked in the 1980's.

But that is of course completely up to you, Henrik!! :-)

If you go to http://www.borbet.de/ and click on "PKW Räder", you can look through their catalog where ET's are also listed for each size/type combination. www.reifen.com can probably supply them if you call them and bypass their normal ordering system. The danish distributor of Borbet rims charge silly prices compared to Reifen.com.

The tyres are not so difficult and can be bought almost anywhere. They would be 215/40 and 225/40 ZR16 depending on rear or front mounting.

Well okay, maybe my question wasn't precise enough.......
- I was asking for a dealer with the wheels exact dimensions as Robi's which would be something like

Outer diam:      16 inch
ET                     18
Holes:               4x98
Center Ø           58

Henrik, obviously you haven't tried what I suggested.... I'm *not* talking about tyres, I was indeed referring to the rims.

Yes  Anders, you are right ! I didn't quite get all of it.

Borbet is a possible solution.....
Are there others ?

I have Azev-A on my car, - they look nothing like Robi's, but the company are very good
at producing the excact ET you want.  http://www.azev.de/

I called them and told them all the measurements, and they drilled all the holes, and
shipped them to me - and it wasn't even expensive.

I know OZ makes something similar to Robi's, but their webpage is not very helpful.

BTW - Robi's and his stunningly looking car were featured in the Dutch online magazine Aktueel:  http://www.aktueel-online.nl/autofreak.php?id=106
I'm sure you can guess your way through the dutch as I did :-)
