Anyone know what thread the bleed(ing) nipples are an the rear calipers? My motor factor has metric fine and UNF but neither fit.  I suspect it is nomal metric but I don't want to order the wrong ones.

Do you mean the large or small ones?

Both the threads, top and bottom, on mine are M10 x 1.25mm pitch.  M10 fixings are 1.5mm pitch by default, but the French seem to favour 1.25mm.

I'm looking into them myself now, have gotten the small ones from Simon when I ordered some other stuff, so they are sorted for me, but found out that I needed a couple of more, clutch slave etc. Could also do with the big ones new when I'm allready doing the other stuff there.

Will check with some threadgauges at work and see what comes up. Wheter or not they are anywhere to be found, remains to be seen....

I am looking for repair kit for the rear calipers. Is it a special Matra item?
If not could anyone list other cars whiches use the same caliper?

Yes, I know that.
If it is not a special Matra item, I could check it at my dealer. I bought repair kits for the front calipers there and it was much cheaper than Simon. But they cannot list the repair kit for the rear one. That is why I need a part number or other cars which use the same...

The rear breaks of a Murena are a lot more tricky to find than the front ones. I think the calipers were found on one or two other cars (fiat?) but there were rare even then.

A view years back I overhauled the brakes of my brothers Renault Alpine A310 V6.
The rear brakes seemed to be identical to the Matra rear brakes.
Unfortunately I did not take any caliper measurements.
