Hi all,

My father in law, has a renault alpine v6 gt with a 3l 12v v6 from an espace (parden the blasphemy  Shocked) and the tps (throttle position sensor) has gone bad.
So he has been looking for a new sensor/replacement, but its been impossible. He has tried contacting Renault Denmark, the renault club etc. and nobody can help him on where to get a new one, so then I came to think of the espace part on the matra forum.

The data is: z7x-775 Solex tps.

Does anybody know where to get one like this (after market, whatever..)

Best regards,
 Grin

Yes I appreciate he is after new, The no. on it (0 280 122 009) looks to be a bosch part no. you should be able to get it from a bosch. I have the bosch software on another computer, when I have a min I will look it up.
But see this: http://www.worldcarparts.co.uk/tabid/144/CategoryID/436/ProductID/2658/language/en-GB/Default.aspx

If the Solex carbs incl tps is taken from Alpine GT (D503) you should be looking for a R25 tps with part no 7701035404 - that is the one fitted on D503 with Z7X 744 engine

Did anyone at Renault even try to check availability with a part number ? My impression is that Renault have a good system for special ordering of parts if the part is no longer in stock, but that requires a special order from your dealer!
