Was just surfing and googling for some Murena pics and other fun things, somehow a notice on Inspector Gadget kept popping up.

Checked it out on Wikipedia and guess what I found! 

"Inspector Gadget is the main protagonist of the series and movies. He dresses like Inspector Clouseau, drives a Matra Murena car and acts like Maxwell Smart, who was portrayed by Gadget's voice actor Don Adams. The clueless Gadget frequently bungles during his cases and gets into danger, but he always gets out of trouble through either his trusty gadgets, Penny or Brain's unseen assistance, or pure luck. One of his most famous catch-phrases in the series is "Wowsers!" Although I myself doesn't think it looks THAT much like a Murena thou...
More like a Toyota Supra og Nissan 300ZX, but if they say its a Murena, we'll just be happy with it, shouldn't we...?

More like a Toyota Supra og Nissan 300ZX, but if they say its a Murena, we'll just be happy with it, shouldn't we...?

If you watch the trailer on youtube you will see that he actually drives a Cadillac, which has a jet engine in the trunk, and can raise up at least 10 feet on stilted wheels.

But wikipedia is user generated and edited. I suspect that a Matra Murena fan, perhaps even yourself    thought it would be fun to change the name of his car.

Well, you probably just saw the movie, where I believe you are correct. But this was for the animated series, and no, it wasn't me.
