For some years ago my clutch started slipping and I had it replaced at my favorite workshop.

The workshop told me that the old clutch was not looking bad at all, so they could not explain what caused the problem.

I have now had the same problem again. Full throtthle with a speed of 80 km/h resulted in the clutch slipping.

Last Sunday, I had to replace my front brake pads, which were totally worn out. When I did this I opened the brake fluid reservoir and realized that the brake fluid level was very low (Not to see) due to the worn out brake pads. When I pressed back the brake caliber pistons in order to get room for the new brake pads, the brake fluid level was back to normal and after this i had no problems with clutch.
I assume that the very low level of brake fluid must have had a kind of effect on the clutch master cylinder causing this to "slip" the clutch, even that it should react opposit and give me problems to get the clutch to "disconnect".

Anyway. The old Espace is driving great now (For time beeing :-)
