Hi i have a 2.2dci espace race today the wife said she stopped in tesco and there was smoke comming from the car then later on informed me that the car was making a noise like a turbine when ignition was turned off i had a look over it and all seemed ok then this eve i took the car for a short run seemed ok stopped in a carpark turned off the car there was the turbine noise for a min or so and smoke not sure what color it was dark.
Ive traked the noise down to around the battery.
I couldnt work it out untill i remembered a galaxy i once owned (a ford not the milkyway) and that had a coolant-heater that on cold winter days would blowout white smoke until i removed the fuse.
questions...
1 do we think this is faulty or normal
2 if faulty whats the best way of fixing it on a budget
3 should i just say sod it and pull the fuse if  so which one. Huh

thanks stu
