New exhaust "straight through" - good sound!

Wanted:

A Simca/Dodge/Talbot gearbox & differential with a lower final drive ratio than the standard Bagheera design.

I need better acceleration for the Sprints and Hill Climb events we do and do not need high top speed!

Commercial vehicles would be a suitable source. Advice is very welcome as always!

Hi Andy
Not sure what happened to my old Bagheera as it was on ebay looking very sad about 2-3 years ago by someone in Preston.  I suspect it was broken for spares.

The reg number was LUD15S and I had fitted a 1.6 Solara engine and a low geared diff from a 1.3 Horizon.

Someone out there somewhere might still have the gearbox....

Might be easier to find than a Horizon 1.3  Smiley

Andy

The Horizon 1118cc had a 3.94:1 diff pinion/crownwheel 16/63 with no markings.
Peugeot lists diffs with one ring pinion/crownwhweel markings - 16/65 witch makes 4.06:1 ratio.
I don´t know witch cars had them.
