I started a brake-conversion for my Murena to get bigger disc all around. I haven't started on the front yet, but the back was installed and fitted. Then to pass for the Dutch MOT I had a new set of the original brakes installed. Cost me a lot of money, but I had to drive the car since the engine was running and it had been standing still for almost 7 years...

Now I thought to start at the brakes again this winter, but the problem is that I got some very good looking 15"alloys to fit my Murena, and the conversion discs need at least 16" wheels at the back.

So now I'm offering this set for somebody else to continu my project.

They are disc brakes of an Alfa Romeo 155 QV (front) made to fit the Murena. An adapter is made to fit to the original Murena trailing arms.

To get the arking brake to work, you need to adjust it to a hydraulic brake, or place an extra set of calippers. I have also the hydraulic unit for sale.

No one else seems to have replied to this, but I should warn you Martijn that a hydraulic parking brake is not legal or allowed, at least in the UK, but I thought this was true in Europe too.  There must be a mechanical system, so anyone who fits these calipers would have to fit something else as well.  Sorry.

Well, there are different gradients in legallity.... In Holland you get away with it as long as you have a good working parking brake. The cable however must be taken completely out of the car becuase even if it is not connected to the brakes the car will fail for it's test if there should be corrosion on it....  Roll Eyes

The hydraulic parking brake i sold now, still have the calipers, discs and mounts for sale.
