Hi all.
Jan and I want to hear if any of you also have problems with the "Lenkmancettes" on the rack and pinion steering arms? Huh
We have both replaced them 2 years ago with new ones from Simon and both of Jan's and one of mine has the end cracked off.
I replaced mine first time 4 years ago, so it appears that the ones from Simon only last max. 2 years. Angry

I intend to complain to Simons again, as I did 2 years ago. That time I could not find my receipt, but this time I have it.

Do you know of a better source? Huh

Yep,I heared it before, and also the ones I bought from car-joy 2008 are not so good anymore.
Maybe look around on E-bay a bit.
this boots are in a wide range of Simca/Talbot.
Here for example.

They are old stock but most of the time they did not come from China Grin

The poor quality of re-manufactured rubber parts seems to be a general complaint in the classic car world.  The last set I bought only lasted a couple of years.  The latest set came from a UK site called mister-auto, although the parts were shipped from France.  I shall see how they last.
