Hi

I hope someone can give me some hints in finding the problem with my car.
It started to stop the engine under load, I can drive it with a very light foot without problems.
Sometimes it will show the zig-zag symbol before cutting out, but mostly it will just power off the engine. I can start it again without problems.

I have just cleaned the EGR valve, it was completely blocked with black stuff, but it did not make any difference.
I have tried to disconnect the MAF sensor, it showed no errors and drove like before and still cut out under load.

I have had error log read by garage and all they can see is that there is a problem with the diesel supply. They  have checked the low-power pump and it works OK... I have just fitted a new fuel filter so that should be OK too.

The garage thinks that it is either the high-power fuel pumpe or a valve inside the pump ?
Or one of the diesel injectors.

Maybe anyone have experienced this before and have some ideas or things that need to be checked ?

The garage checked the injectors and found that one was leaking way too much fuel and the other 3 looked OK.
After replacing the defective injector it looks to be OK again  Grin
Hopefully there will be no problems when i test it later today...

So, if anyone experience that the motor stops completely during load, then have the injectors checked.

I hope your problem is cured. If not then it will be the crank sensor or associated connection/wiring. It is a well known fault.
