;)Hello from Athens Greece and happy new year to all of you.
The story is that I'm looking for a Murena just for fun.I used to have an old Matra Bagheera and now I like to be back and have one this super looking Murena's how you recoment to look for one? It has to be as good condition as possible in and out. In Athens there is one that I know for sell but the owner is out of brain and asking for 22000 Euro's.

The best  bet is to look for one outside Greece.
Since the murenas are so rare Im afraid that you have to import one.
Germany seems to have the largest population of matras outside france.
Try mobile.de autoscout24.de or ebay.de ... there are always a few for sale.
Alternatively you should speak to Ruud at CARJOY in Holland. He deals exclusively with murenas, and always has several cars to choose from.
He is also very helpfull with any paperwork that needs to be done regarding the export of the car, and last but not least, you have a garantee that you wount get ripped off  Wink

good luck in your search

Happy new year to you too!

I agree with Krede... buying a Murena is a matter of trust, and I think you would probably be best off by flying to Carjoy. You could also contact the clubs in Germany, UK and France directly to see what they have to offer. Buying off eBay is not bad, necessarily, we have seen some very good examples here in Denmark lately, but somehow you always get what you pay for, and we have also seen a couple of apparantly excellent cars needing expensive repairs anyway. Personally, all I've bought from Ruud is a cap and a t-shirt (wearing it!) but I've got a reasonably good impression of him.

As you already have a Bag, you will know that buying a Murena is always going to give you challenges...

But nice challenges I hope, and pleasures - so I guess it makes up nicely!

And just like the other answers you got, Ruud in netherlands has a very good hand with this cars, i think he started 1984 as a matra specialist.
