1990 Espace new windscreen

Well at last the new screen arrived and has been fitted, there are still the strip across the top of the screen and the two external rubber moldings down each side to fit but that will be done shortly. We are waiting for a second hand front right quarter glass to be sent from England, the original was broken way back by a stone thrown up by a roadside mowerm but for the time being we fabricated one from 3mm clear Perspex and it looks quite good. Once the remaing moldings are fitted the car is going intoour workshop for a complete repaint.

Good job! Glad you got the screen ok! Amazing considering the distance involved.

What paint are you using for the respray? I've only used cellulose but I don't think it can be used on the fibreglass, least that's what I've been told. My bonnet (hood ) is letting the rest of the car down and I'd like to give it a quick respray but not sure what paint to use.
