Hi brianM, I have carried out this repair on my 2.2dti Espace, year 2000, and have a set of photos somewhere that show the main parts of this horrible job. I did my matrix replacement when the engine was out of the car, as it gave easy access to the "quick" release hose couplings at the bulkhead, so trying to access the couplings with the engine in place would make it, in my opinion, nearly impossible. the whole of the dashboard has to be lifted and pulled rearward to access the heater matrix housing, which involves the removal of dozens of Torx head screws. If you think it will help I will try to find the photos, as I did this job about 10 years ago and can't remember where I saved the photos. best of luck. regards. Ross
