51 plate 2.2 DCi the Race JE0k G9T 710

Hiya! Car failed to start the other morning so swapped out TDC sensor and hey presto it started instantly!
Drove 100+ miles that day with no problems and parked up. The following morning no start again! Checked wiring to TDC sensor and noticed it was all taped up with insulation tape which I removed to find that someone had replaced the connector by cutting the wires and joining together with a new/used connector. I checked the continuity between connector and joint and found a break in the wire. I re soldered the wires direct to connector and checked continuity to joint and all is fine. I expected car to fire up but no joy!

Car fires on easy start but does not run
Lift pump running and fuel pumping from filter
Tested both original and new TDC sensors and both read around 251 ohms
Swapped out cam sensor (I have a parts car!)
Checked wiring around AC pipes no sign of wear
Only DTC codes are glow plug and thermo plunger related
"Gurgling" sound from tank when lift pump is running

I have a clip but not getting ISO light so no probe recognised I presume it's faulty

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks in anticipation

Hi, how are you getting on with this? Have you checked the fuel rail sensor? Are you getting pulsing of the injectors? You will need a meter or scope to check these. I'm thinkng either you dont have fuel pressure or your immobiliser is faulty.
