I’m considering replacing the drivers seat foams, has anyone tried these?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Foam-for-seatback-front-Matra-Murena/352423440381

At £250 for both, it’s a lot to pay. Does anyone know what the quality is like, or know of another supplier?
Thanks.

Yes, I know someone who has and they are good.  The drivers seat foam has usually deteriorated badly by this time and it brings back the firmer base and the seat trim material becomes nice and taut again, rather than being saggy.

Hi Tim,

I replaced mine using a set from DIFS:
http://www.sellerie-difs.com

In 2016 they quoted me 205€ for seat+back, including P&P to the UK.
IIRC, remote payment was not easy and so I arranged for somebody to pick the set from Rétromobile as they usually have a booth.

The foams are great and fit very well but they obviously raise the siting position so I now have to move the seat more forward to be able to recline it further (and I am shorter than you!). They are also firmer, as one would expect.

Regards,
JL.
