Murena and Multipla - I like it 3 abreast!

« on: November 29, 2006, 02:51:23 pm »

My clock is in darkness and in these winter nights, I need to see it. Rather than continually picking up my mobile to see the time, if anyone has a spare bulb and holder to fit a Murena clock, it would be really appreciated.

Name your price.

Hi Antony

I have a spare clock, and you can have the bulb and holder off that if you want. I bought the clock off eBay along with some other stuff, and I may never need it, but if I do, it's unlikely to be because the bulb holder has failed... The holder only consists of the socket for the bulb and a piece of wire with a single spade connector on to connect it to the instrument lights wire somewhere behind it, so there is nothing special about it really. Mail me your address and I'll post it to you.

Cheers,
Anders

Anders, got the bulb/holder thanks very much indeed.

What are the chances of me just plugging it in and it working...? None!

Stupid electrics.

Glad it made it over the north sea Wink
You should be able to fetch the power for the bulb from the cigarette lighter illumination, I think that's probably the easiest.

Ah, good idea. I don't use that anyway.

Cheers.
