So I'm finally getting around to doing a few more jobs on the 1.6 ( having 2 other classics has got in the way!!) And one of these has got to be the rattling release bearing.iv purchased the qh clutch at a bargain price but is it poss to remove the box with the engine in situ and the suspension that side removed.Huh And engine lowered slightly of course Huh Or is it an engine out job ?

Yes, you can with the engine in situ.  Remove the LH trailing arm and the LH and centre engine mounts.  Undo the intermediate bearing in order to leave the RH drive shaft in place.
