Just in the process of getting the engine back in on my Murena 2.2 with twin dellortos, one of the many bits that have been lost in the 14 months the engine has been out is the air filters. Does anyone have a recommendation for air filters or know what the maximum size of filter is that will fit? I can't measure it yet as the engine isn't back in yet....

Id recon that 4cm was the maximum depth i could fit on mine.. I had to "modify" the ones I bought.
The problem is that the dellortho kits dont mount the carbs at an angle to clear the gastank like on a true "s" Murena...
That prevents the fitting of proper "horns" to the carbs.
All in all my personal opinion is that the murena 2.2 isnt really suited to this type of tuning.

It's a pity there's no space to "play" with trumpet length... Also it could be that the angled manifold actually works better than the straight since the straight one requires the airflow to turn more down to the valve. As far as I remember, the inlet down to the valve is angled upwards in the head.

It looks excellent though, Krede! Cheesy
