My guess (probably as good as anyone else's): Electric vehicles, where more efficient motors combined with far better batteries mean low wieght and long range, i.e. no reason to carry a combustion engine to aid the electric motor. With almost zero cost power produced by nuclear fusion reactors, roads will be very crowded! When? My guess is 50 years from now.
