My fan has become "squealy" of late, and I have decided to treat it to some lubricant.
But, how to get at it? .. access isn't immediately obvious to me.. ..
Any advice , before I disassemble the entire interior/front end ? Smiley

access is unfortunatly not the best, the only way to get at the fn is to remove the cover plates under the hood. The fan is placed in the right hand corner (sitting in the car)

I changed my fan last year, and since I also plan to change the windscreen wiper motor, I have left the coverplates off, I can get you a picture later today.

The fan is not accessed from the car interior at all Krede.

Under the front there is a metal plate with a curve in it on the RH (passenger) side.  It is behind that.

To remove it you will probably have to remove the rivets and the rear plate on the top of the inner wing first.

Then there are two small bolts that are in the scuttle area going down into the fan assembly.  Remove these to remove the assembly - it is all fairly easy once you see it.
