Welcome to the forum!

About a year ago there was a guy who wanted to fit a diesel engine on a Murena, but I don't know if he has succeeded or not.
An autobox shouldn't be more difficult than all the other stuff concerning an engine conversion (which is quite complex).

Tell us a bit more about your car!

A huge job either way!!.
My advice : Keep the Murena as it is and buy a small, cheap, economical diesel for everyday use. Smiley... seriously!!.. it makes much more sense.

I thought about fitting a a pug HDI engine and then converting it to run on vegetable oil and fitting it in a Murena before I went and bought my car...
That would really have given me the best of everything.
Cheap fuel, good looking car, great reliance to rust, and good mileage, and decent performance.

But in the end.. you can buy A LOT of petrol for the cost of such a project.
And you need lots of time and mechanical know how,to attempt such a project Wink
Maybe a project for some crazy Dutch?? Wink
