Hello!
Well, I know this question should have been done
BEFORE but, anyway, I had to fit them today (work had prevented doing it earlier
) as tomorrow all family will go for a trip. And old tires were just too bad to continue with them.
So I have called my trusty tire garage and have found that the only available tire close to the one I needed was 205/65 R15 95H. My question is due to an error in the technical sheet of my car, as it specifies no less than 205/65 R15 100H. To make things worse, old tires were 215/65 R15 96H. So in last MOT I had some problems but it finally seemed they were OK.
As you can see, fitted ones are OK in dimmensions but lower on load capacity (100 vs 95). But my mechanic has told me that
100 was used in small trucks, so it should be an error. He had not 96H available so I have taken 95H as the closest one... I have seen some on-line tire selector specifies 94H in 205 measure for my Espace, so 95H could be OK.
What do you think?
Of course, even being a bit thinner, car now behaves perfectly. They have checked also alignment with a laser system and was right on the spot.
Regards,
JOSE
