Thanks Lennart,

 Smiley

Yes I know, it's terrible, but I think it basically comes down to the big "shopping party" is over at the moment, meaning nobody spends money right now in Dk. You can see it on the real estate market, and also on the amount of ferrari's on sale right now in Dk, just to mention a few examples.
Thus creating a big problem for people wanting to get even a decent price for their special cars.
The people who still have the money would rather buy "new new new...."  Roll Eyes

I would still say that a reasonable price for this one would have been about 90k, but the "used" market is just dead right now I think. Tongue

Much cheaper than that and you should start thinking about selling the car in parts in stead!! Sad..

Hi Kim, and welcome!

Its nice to know that lovely Murena now drives around in the area where I grew up. In fact my very first drive in a Matra happened there - a belgian couple driving a flashy orange Bag SII asked for direction to my home town, and since I had just missed the afternoon bus, they drove me the 10 miles home. That must have been 1980 or thereabout.

So when I moved to the UK (first time) in 1995, I still had the desire to get a good Bag SII and pay somebody to restore it completely ... which is when I realized that the Murena (which I had never seen) was in fact warm galvanized from factory.
That did it for me.

However, when I met up with Roy at Silverstone and saw a Murena for the first time (his silver one), it could as well have been ungalvanized - my eyes spelled SOLD! SOLD! SOLD!. (except Roy wasn't selling his, but he pointed me at someone who did, and the rest is history.  :-)   )
