I will use it pretty often on the summer so it should be located hidden in the car, perhaps under steeringwheel.
Ill investigate little more on the three cables coming from the ignition.

That's very cheap. AFAIR, I pay some 5000 dkk per year for a full insurance with max 8000 km per year (but can be increased for a fee). Classic car insurances normally require the car to not be used in the winter months and to be kept in garage. As my Murena is the family's second car and I don't have a garage, I don't have any other option
The wires from the ignition lock should be pretty straight forward to work on and are connected to the main loom with tab connectors. Unless yours looked like mine, which were corroded and melted, you could just pull out one of the connectors and link your switch in.
But I'm not sure it will make for an effective theft protection as car thieves know what to look for
