Dear all,
There is a thick cable with alot of cables for electrical stuff connecting three places in the front of the car, and the other end goes UNDER the car (I guess it goes all the way to the engine, but I dont know). It is in really poor condition, and I have seen that simon-auto.de has some "kabelbaume" for sale, for murena 2.2. But I don't know wich is wich.
It says "kabelstrang motor 2.2", "hauptkabelstrang 2.2" and "verbindungskabelstrang". All three packages are quite expensive, so I don't want to buy the wrong pack according to my needs. Does anybody know what set I should buy?
Furthermore, does anybody have a clear and detailed visualiation, or brochure displaying the the whole electrical cable-diagram, including explanations to what the different cables are for?
Best regards,
Jesper

Thanks Lennart and Dinsen,
I have begun to replace the verbindung-kabelstrang (The one going from the front to the rear of the car (goes underneath the car), because there has been a serious shortcut on a grey wire going to the generator. So I have pulled the whole connectionwire out, and I am about to order the new wires for the 18-wires-thick cable. I am a little unshure of how much amps the different wires should be able to withstand, but I have found out that there is one 4mm (red), two 3mm (greys, one of them the melted one), then five 2,5mm, and 10 2mm.
I guess that they are normal wires, so replacing them with thinwall-wires would be a good idea, as long as the thinwalls meet the corresponding amp-limits of old standard cables?
Has anyone replaced wires with the thinwall-ones from v.w.p?
Best regards, Jesper
