Replacing the standard 2.2 cam with a Holbay, or S-cam. Issues?

One of the things I want to do is to install a Holbay, or S-cam in my Murena 2.2.
Before I attempt this I want to ask if it also requires to mount double carbs?
Or can the original single carb deliver the extra fuel that I assume the S-cam will cause the engine to consume?
If more fuel than one carb can deliver is needed, I will wait until I am ready to also convert to fuel injection. My MegaSquirt control should automatically adjust air/fuel mixture as the quick-response Lambda probe tells it.

Jon
I believe I have a Holbay cam in my car. The carb is a Weber 34DMTR which replace the original worn out Solex as I understand.
Quite happy to post a photo of the carb if you like, but it is more than enough for the engine and after tune today, is producing 120BHP.

The Holbay cam runs very well with the original Solex 34CIC, Jon. No rejetting or anything is needed, and the carb can supply plenty enough air for the engine to breate up to 7000 rpm

Thanks Anders. That is what I hoped to hear.
