Do you have any suggestions on wich rearlights that would fit moderately?
heh - my immediate thought when I looked at the U8 rear was: Urraco! - but it would be taking it a bit far to scrap an Urraco to restore a Baghera ? :-) How about some of the old Fiat models ? /Lennart

haha! no i won't lay my hands on a uracco (; I have searched a bit on google and i like the alfa romeo gtv from the 80's but they seems a bit big for the bagheera. I think it would be a bit odd if you reflect it. picture: http://www.alfaclub.lu/GRAPHICS/ads_gtv6esch.jpgI have also found another that old skódas have, the car do look like a lada but the rear lights is kinda nice, but too big. skoda 130l i think. picture: http://skoda3city.dobis.pl/dane/historia/artykuly/125l/sk_125l_1.jpgDo anyone have an suggestion on wich lights i could use?

... they don't look similar to me well, I didn't say they were identical, but IMO the U8 resembles the Urraco even more than the standard Baggy. (which got the nickname mini-Urraco when it was introduced) How about these (upside down) : although a Renault 30 is probably not easy to find though ? /Lennart

You are right, Jacob. But HOW on earth did Matra come about to use Maserati parts?
- Anders
I got so interested in just why... so i looked it up, maybe the designer of the Maserati Khamsin, the well known Bertone, had a finger in the game? The years fit: produced within 1974 och 1983. in 421 cars. And he have done the design on: simca 1000 and 1200 cupé. But it is just a guess. Maybe Matra just wanted some prestige by using Maserati parts Aand a picture on the Khamsin is here (it's much more fun to read a thread with pics (; ):
