Tables behind front seats (JE) can't stay upright (Solved)

Dear all.

The tables behind the front chairs on my JE Espace are useless. Everything I put something on the table it just drops down.

I assume that i need to replace the hydraulic damper which are located underneath each table?

Do anyone know where i can buy those "dampers" ?

Sure! I've bought new from Birkegårdens Autodele http://www.birkegaardens-autodele.dk/
Mogens get them from Renault.

You will need to drill out the rivets to fit the new ones. I fitted them with short bolts and locknuts.

The original "dampers" are very expensive.  You can get a generic damper where the hydralics are closer to the upper fix point and they fit perfect.

One generic damper costs approx 22 euros so you can save a lot by using the generic one.
