Rear break disc's
March 20, 2011, 06:42:12 AM
I have disassembled the rear breaks as they had seized after 3 years off the road.
Discs have a some grooves in them, but not too bad.
I can get them skimmed at work though, so what can anybody tell me the minimum thickness? (2.2 discs).. 9mm?

Also what's the torque of the hub nut?

Hello,

Could anyone send me a similar figure of the Murena 2.2 rear brake disc?

I only have the 1.6...

1.6 and 2.2 are the same.  The only difference is the 2.2 disc is larger in diameter to provide extra metal for absorbing and getting rid of the extra heat.

So, you mean that the fig is perfect except for the largest diameter which is 260mm instead of 234.

Technical descriptions are a bit confusing concerning diameters of discs.

Thanks.
