Gear guide 2nd to 3rd

Gents,

Got another problem with my newly fixed car. When shifting from 2nd gear to 3rd gear, I seem to have lost that little guide that aids the shifting into 3rd gear. As it is now I have to manually move out of 2nd, then move to the right, and then "place" the stick in 3rd gear.
It used to be much smoother. I'm wondering what my fixing guy has missed to to fix/put back/adjust or something?

     Seems to be your Espace has come back from the garage with more problems than it went in with.

Yes, the number of issues are higher, but the magnitude is minuscule compared...
Before 1x engine "broken"
Now 5x small problems, like clock is 12h out.

The gear linkage will have been disconnected to drop out the engine and box...... the gearchange issue may well be just down to the linkage having been reconnected in a slightly different position and a bit of adjustment will get it back as it was.

Went my back to my guy yesterday and the gear linkage problem was as simple as one hose resting on part of the linkage in the engine bay... *phew* Problem solved!
