Espace 2.2 Dti - Heater Fan works intermittently

Hello to all on the forum, it's been a while since my Betsy was unwell.
Well now she seems to have developed another slight problem.
It's the heater fan, all lights on this control panel work as normal, but the fan slider switch only works sometimes. I seem to remember looking at a fix for this type of problem, it may have been on another forum. I think the problem may just be a ill fitting connctor plug under the top part of the dash. Can anyone confirm that I am sort of correct assuming this. I honestly cannot remeber where I saw this remedy for this type of problem.
Any ideas most appreciated.
