Here is a question for you, why when I put my brake pedal down do the dashboard lights fade? Only to get brighter when the pedal is released?

E.G. Choke light/side lights, and hand brake light on the centre console?
I guess I’ll be bombarded by the dreaded words "bad earth" but I thought I’d ask...

Bad earth Grin

But it could also be just poor supply from the fuse board to the dash. Do they fade a lot or just a bit?

My radio front panel blinks a bit when the indicators are turned on and I don't really understand it because it get's the power supply over a 70A ignition relay supplied directly from a 6 sqmm cable to the battery! But it is probably the permanent 12V supply to the dash, which also powers the indicator relay.

Its one of these small things that all Murena's suffer from.
If I have nothing else to do on the car I consider making a stabilised circuit, and make the variable adjuster a 2 position switch.(full/dimmed)
So far I see about 2 years more important  work on the car.
In good time it will be a fact.
