Murena and Multipla - I like it 3 abreast!

Just wondered if anyone is going to Goodwood this coming weekend?

I'm going on the Sunday hoping it will a little drier than last year!

As much as I like the GFoS I am going to the Copenhagen Jazzfestval in that weekend (which I also love).

hoping it will a little drier than last year!

It actually doesn't look that bad according to our (= www.ecmwf.int) own "10 day metgram" for Goodwood House - attached below.

To read it, you basically look at the thin blue line (the "deterministic forecast") and regard the other lines and bars as probabilities.  The days are at the bottom graph.

It looks cloudy but pretty dry for the weekend, - with a little risk of some showers.

Last time I went to GFoS was 2005 ( http://www.sorth.dk/p/20050625/index.html )
There is/was something about the Matra Museum only attending every other year ?

Anyway have fun there - and show us pictures !

Well Lennart, the weather was as forecast; warm and not too sunny, perfect!

Here are the Matra-lights:

MS10 - (excuse the child!)

MS10 at speed -

MS80 -

Sir Jackie's autograph -

MS80 spoilers -

That's all I got as there was just so much to see, I had to save some xD card space for the;
3 Veyrons, because 1 just isn't enough.

Alfa 8C, gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous, my favourite car of the show

maserati MC12, pure evil with the best exhaust note I heard.

£5.5m Ferrari 250 California, someone saw Chris Evans coming with this thing!

Peugeot Proxima, I have models and posters of this thing and I got to touch it!

Ford RS200, 2nd prettiest rally car ever.

That Audi R10 (boo....!)

And loads more amazing cars, but as I was queueing to leave, a young man driving a Focus drew level with my Matra and held up a hand-written sign saying "Nice car!" with a thumbs-up drawn next to it.
That made my day...

Yes, apparently we (or the weather?) did get it right. Smiley

Nice pictures, - and nice to hear you had a fantastic time. I do love the GFoS - the mix of cars, owners and audience is magic.

not the child, - but the CAP!  :-)
I have some Matra caps you could have borrowed for the occasion :-)

sweet :-)

I had a absolutely fantastic time at the Copenhagen Jazzfestival - but I have some friends who did go to Goodwood Sunday, on a late invitation from Car Magazine - haven't seen any of their pictures yet, but he stacks a very nice Nikon D300 and is a very keen photographer and motorsport anorak, and I know they had a fantastic time. I can post some of their pictures, once I get to see them.
