Renault only sells a complete new arm, but they can be removed and replaced with cheaper alternative parts.

I haven't done the job myself, but my garage replaced one on my JE0G in December by removing the old joint from the arm.

Espace, because it's worth it!

If I remember correctly Euro Car Parts can supply the ball joints for less than £20 each and also stock wishbone bushes if you want to do a more comprehensive suspension refurb whilst you are replacing the balljoint.

I haven't replaced them on my Espace but from past experience on other cars they do take some getting out... sometimes they will come out with brute force and ignorance but usually best to use a hydraulic press. A soaking with penetrating oil sometimes helps separation of the balljoint from the wishbone but often you may need some heat.

On some original equipment assemblies the balljoints are riveted to the wishbone so the rivet will also need drilling out but the aftermarket balljoint kits usual come with a nut and bolt to replace the rivet.
