Today I checked anything that could be related to the vibrations.
Couln't find anything wrong.
I picked up the old mount that came of the car.

All original old mounts has the rubber pressed in at the same angle, as you can see in the pics above.
Mine is defenatly after market produktion and the rubber is pressed in different.
You can recognise original or aftermarket.

Original

aftermarket

Tomorow I am gonna try to press it out, and mount it in the right angle.

Today we tried to get the rubber out with a press.
We didn't succeed with this simple press.

So we got over to a friend who has a more proffesional press.

After puting 4000kg pressure on the mount we got it loose. Tongue
After cleaning with sandpaper we used some grease, and pressed it in at a angle I have seen in most older mounts.
We turned it about 240 degree, so that the used side was up. and inside out.

Mounted the thing back, and all my vibrations are gone. Grin Grin Grin Grin
It seems to be important to mount it in the right angle.

Hi Oetker.
That was excellent, thanks for the update. Next weekend I will be working on my gearbox and I will take the opportunity to inspect the motor mounts. I always thought my Murena was a bit noisy. Perhaps it is due to the bushing being mounted wrong.

This mounting is important to be in good shape.
If you wait to long it can break the mountingpart on the engine.
Some people already had this problem.
You don't want that to happen, because they are difficult to find, specific Murena 2.2, and very expencive.
I suggest everyone check this mount for excesive wear.

Well I got it from him last year without problems. Have you tried recently?
