Glove Box Lid - 01 Privilege

Morning All

Have '01 model Privilege. Eldest son tried to slam the soft close hydraulic glove box lid, resulting in plastic snapping sound and now the lid remains open. Renault don't list hinge, just whole glovebox at £460.00!! Anyone ever taken one of these apart?

No, but it might be worth trying one of the online breakers.

I rebuilt my Espace from a crash write-off and found the parts prices generally very reasonable,  but this is a bit excessive
