Easy guys.
A trailer hook was an original MATRA accessory for the Murena.  Just check your documentation.
The Murena was the sports car for the family man: spacious cabin, three seats, reasonable big luggage compartment and the option of having a trailer hook.
If I am not mistaken there was also an original roof rack (for skies) awailable.

Actualy I know of one Murena with an ORIGINAL trailer hook.

You are absolutely right - and I have even seen a (white) Murena with the roofbox in Denmark (owned by an old lady - no idea where the car is these days)

It is a Carjoy conversion with a 3.0 V6 Alfa motor.
You can recognise the subframe.

The red V6 for sale is ugly but WOW the black cabrio/targa is amazing!  Very properly made and really smart system, I like it!

A bit off topic but - leather and engine good.  Horrible bodywork completely spoils it though.  

The white 2.2 sold for £1450.  A bit of a bargain.  Had I waited, I would have been a lot better with that one that the one I bought.  Two new trailing arms would cost almost as much as the complete car!
