Hi all,

Must admit that I had this quandry a couple of years ago, and decided to go the full stainless route with the addition of twin exhausts. This cost was approximatley £ 350.00ish which was very favourable with what Renault were quoting, I was having no joy with the original manufactures and after market suppliers with my Espace being the Grand.
The company I used was mij performance of Walsall

Very nice, it would have been my choice also. Good price too. Smiley

In a perfect world... Wink Sparky, your exhaust looks very good from that end. I'd love to see underside photos Cheesy
But... I have ordered a new mild steel exhaust. I couldn't find a new stainless exhaust for that kind of money. A new exhaust is about 2000 DKK (not original, that would have been much more expensive) and the last one lasted 3 1/2 years, sċ I hope this one will too.

I expect to have it next week - then just needs to get it fitted.

Anders I'm sorry I've no photo of underneath at the moment. but as far as I remember, the exhaust adapts from the Cat to a small silencer (Reasonably quiet) along the original exhaust route over the rear axle. From here it tee's off and goes to both the outlets around the spare wheel carrier, where they fitted a new hanger for the new pipe.

Is this any use to you ?  http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=1&ved=0CBAQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cats-direct-shop.co.uk%2Frenault-espace-exhaust-system.php&rct=j&q=renault+espace+exhaust+v6&ei=hxlqS9mdHY2I0wS-nfmyCA&usg=AFQjCNE8DXvz6uiZeZBFVc64ff0f5D6qKQ

Do post some photo when you get the chance, Sparky. It sounds like a nice design.

Thanks for the link - it seems I would have been able to buy myself a new exhaust for about 100 GBP if I was in the UK!  Shocked
