New exhaust "straight through" - good sound!

« on: September 08, 2010, 11:20:06 pm »

Having visited the Etretat Hill Climb at the end of August and sorted out the logistics of getting myself, car and family "abroad" I would be interested in attending other motorsport events in northern Europe.

Do any of the Euro Matra Clubs have "activity" events such as track days, attend Hill Climbs and Sprints etc?

Is there a central list of all Euro Matra activities? Should there be one?

Are there any other Matristi entering their cars in motorsport?

Has anyone heard of " The Croix-en-Ternois circuit, about an hour inland from Calais." It was recommended to me by an Alpine enthusiast when I asked similar questions about "activity days".

How about the Belgian Matra Club and Spa visits?

Hi  Andy

I have raced at Croix-en-Ternois in classic touring cars but we were invited by our French counterparts. I believe that some of the UK race organisers may hire the circuits for weekends (BRSCC, 750 MC or similar) but I do not know if there are any sprint organisations who do the same thing, I would guess that an internet search for a calendar of events at the circuit may give some clues or even an email address for the circuit.

Regards
