Spare parts from web
August 15, 2006, 11:57:13 AM
Hi all,

do you happen to know any dealers that will sell spare parts to Espace through web?
I have a 2002 JE and it seems that the whole car has determined to fall into pieces at once. So far I have replaced both rear bearings, breaks and fixed air-conditioning during the summer. I still need to replace the whole exhaustion, left fog light and both front lights(xenon) + replace most of the main display lamps. This car seems to be extremely rare in Finland and the only place to get parts is official renault dealer. Prices here are astronomical :-)

So I would appreciate if someone could post some liks to spare part dealers.

Thanks,

-T

Hi Tontsa

You could try www.eurocarparts.co.uk
They have slowly been increasing the parts they offer for the Espace and will supply outside of the UK but they do advise that import duties may be imposed by certain countries.... see http://www.eurocarparts.com/customer_service.htm#export

Renault dealer prices in the UK are also very high. I have a 2002 JE and had to pay 108,00 GBP including tax for a front fog light. Euro Car Parts now have them available (made by Valeo who make the original equipment lamps) at 36,35 GBP plus VAT at 17.5%.
The engine oil, air and fuel filters from Euro Car Parts are about half the price of Renault filters and made by Purflux who are the supplier of Renault branded filters.

But you would need to check out the shipping costs from the UK and also if you would have to pay import duties to determine whether you could buy parts cheaper from the UK than from your local Renault dealer in Finland.
