Visit Le Mans in June and you'll be able to get all the Matra models you'd ever want Smiley

Kind of a long trip for some models thou...

Have you seen Murenas in some of the larger scales like 1:24 or 1:18?

I know Simon sells a plastic modell set, unsure about the size of that one

The only Murena models out there are 1:43, like the Baghera on top in your photo.
I thought of buyin one, but think 1:43 is too small. I would want at least 1:24.

A 1:43 modell car is small but looks good on the shelf. Smiley
I bought a platine Murena modell on ebay, I like it. And I could not stop so I had to buy a 1:1...  Grin

I bought mine from this seller. He was correct.
Check the prices because they can be varied on ebay. But if I remember well, this seller was the cheapest.

My Matra collection – some are resin kits that I built, some are finished models.

I've also got some Matra 1:43 kits that I've not built yet.

When I started collecting, the only Murena model was this (and variations of it):

I bought some to modify.

Got as far as this with my conversion (which was already a lot of work):

I was very pleased that, finally, a good scale model was available.  But it is such a pity that the Ixo 1:43 model's rims – even though they are very nicely reproduced – look like 17"

I would LOVE a 1:18 Murena – keep hoping that it will appear one day.

As mentioned elsewhere, there is now a 1:18 Murena  Grin Grin Grin
thought it should be mentioned here to keep this thread useful for people who search for Matra models.
