Well after years of good service and very few repairs our never let us down 1994 2.0i lpg/petrol's Espace (Elmo) cam belt snapped 4years and 40,000 miles after replacing the said belt.
I did put a new belt on this afternoon but it sounds like a tin of nails and now its time to let it live on in other Espaces.
So I will put a add for parts in the right forum.
A sad day  Cry

Hi,
Had much the same issue with my 94 Espace but found that the only damage was to 3 camshaft rockers, which cost about £15 each.
In my case for the sum of £45 + new timing belt the old Espace lives on.
