Welding stainless stell to steel

Dear fellow Bagheera´ists.

I been away for far to long because of illness and unfortunately its also been playing tricks with my memory - what was I talking about...

I been offered some stainless steel plats (1 mm) and thought they would be good for replacing (rebuilding) the floor plan, boot floor etc but I cant remember if there is any trick to MIG/MAG C02 weld it to the steel chassis of the Bagheera. Is it even possible to weld stainless steel to steel?
