I have just recieved some new pictures from Liaz, so you can enjoy the now fully finished car:

- Liaz just told me ( minutes ago) that they have encountered a problem with the MS11 engine, and for now it doesn't run. This puts the trip up there in jeopardy !


Was it really run by Pescarolo:
Oh yes.
- in fact all the Matra V12 powered F1 cars were driven by French drivers, - in the first years it was Beltoise and Pescarolo (while Stewart and Servoz-Gavin were running DFV engined cars), and from 1971 it was Chris Amon  and Beltoise.

At most races, there were only two Matra's, however occasionally there were in fact all four of them (two races in 1968 and one in 1969). Rules were somewhat different then, before Bernie took over the show.

Latest news (as of 2 minutes ago) is very short, but excellent:
