hi when driving my 94 2.2 rxe petrol it starts to cut out then carries on and does it again but not all of the time some times  it runs sweet i was woundering if my immobiliser might be playing up or the ignition pack or crank sensor i was going to check them but unsure where the parts are located so has anyone had similar symptoms or can you please tell me where to find these parts so i can change them 1 by 1 thanks

Nothing to do with immobiliser - if it starts then immo is ok until you stop the car (software unlock in ECU - not dependant of wiring/connections once verifyed).
TDC censor is between engine/gearbox -mounted on top of clutch-house to sniff down on the flywheel. This one has a cable that eventally is connected on the coil (just follow cable to find coil). Try new TDC, these coils are normally no problem.
