Hello, just found out theres an 8-12 week wait for a new radiator just wondered if any of you guys knew how I might get hold of one sooner, preferably within about a month? price appears to be 288 plus shipping so if anyone knows of a cheaper way then suggestions will be greatly appreciated Cheers Joe

It would matter if they were not the same and therefore didn't fit. Have a look at this post:

It looks like it fits the 1.1 and 1.3 petrol version, but it seems that it differs little from Visa radiator in the link you posted lewisman.

If your radiator is the original type with the metal, rather than plastic tanks on the ends, then it is far easier to get it recored. Any competent radiator specialist will be able to do it for you in a few days. I had mine done a couple of years ago by my local specialist, Sheldrake & Wells of Ipswich, it cost £150 + VAT and they made an excellent job of it. The all-metal radiators are valuable, so don't discard yours.
Hi Pete,
That is a very good bit of info as I have an old metal radiator I was just about to discard. I think it will be winging it's way to Ipswich shortly and going straight back in my car.
Cheers,
Graham
In the original post, Macaroni recommended these people Bryan & Sons, 165a Camden Road, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN1 2RF 01892 544635. May be a little more convenient for you.
